Hawes to Sedbusk Hardraw Force, upper Wensleydale. Sites such as Bolton Castle are great to explore too. Following the fish of the Seven Seas Fish Trail as they swim across the pavements, leading the way from the old town to the beautiful riverfront. Along the way there is a wealth of history and heritage to enjoy. As well as being able to meet pigs, ponies, goats and chickens, little ones can jump about on the bouncing pillows, have a tractor ride, hit the pedal go-kart track and play in the giant sand pit.

And you don't have to be hardy hiker. Choose from any one of the nine trails that start from various point in the forest and take in the views across the forest and moors, and you may well encounter some of the local wildlife. My walks here are growing with regular frequency now I live on the edge of the park. If we wish we can create an informal exhibition of what we've achieved and share this with everyone at the Country House this evening. The sloping green meadows and heather-clad hills of the North Yorkshire Moors are great for walking, cycling and horse riding. The Passionate Bronte's is a light-hearted guided walk around Haworth, home of literature's most famous sisters.
